Lankaa ja suklaata

Vietimme viime viikonlopun Gävlessä. Sinne oli on pitkän, pitkä automatka. Se teki hyvää isin villatakille. Nyt hihat on puikolla ja loppusuora alkaa häämöttää… Kun tulin kotiin postilaatikosta löytyi paketti. Suklaata ja lankaa ja pieni pitsinen laventelipussi joka heti jouti käyttöön. Lanka oli Hjertegarnin Play it- mohairlankaa, se kuiskasi että se haluaa tulla hartiaanlämmittimeksi ja mallikin oli jo valmiina Cheryl Niamathin Wisp. Kiitos sinulle Christina kivasta paketista.

We spent the last weekend in Gävle. It’s quite far away so many hours were spent in the car. This resulted in great progress when it comes to dad’s cardi, the sleeves are on the needles and I can see that I’m getting close to the final cast off. When I came home there was a parcel waiting for me. There were yarn and chocolate and a sweet sachet. The yarn was a mohair yarn from Hjertegarn; Play it. It told me that it wanted to be a wrap, more precisely it wanted to be Cheryl Niamath’s Wisp. Thank you Christina for this lovely parcel.

Tilkkutäkkikin edistyy. Tässä on Hutikuun tilkku, se ei tosin ole Marin Melchiorin, Woolen Collectibles, alkuperäinen tilkku vaan Susan Springettin muunnos siitä, ystävällisesti hän jakoi kaavan että minäkin saisin tällaisen. Pidän tästä tosi paljon

There is some progress at the afghan frontier too. Here is the April square, but it is not Marin Melchior’s, Woolen Collectibles, original square but a modification designed by Susan Springett. Very kindly she shared her pattern with me and I like it very much.
