Every moment I could spare I've been knitting these socks like a manic. I love them. A beautiful pattern giving me a déjà-vue-feeling and a yarn that was like a dream. So easy to knit, no splitting no knots only a beautiful soft surface. Lovely colors. I dreamt myself away somewhere to a shore at a chrystal blue lake where the water shifts into turquoise and the green hills mirrors themself into the water in brown/olivegreen shades. I've never been so much in love with a yarn like this one, but on the other hand I've never bought such expensive sockyarn either.... It's obviously a fact: you get what you pay for...
As I said before, the pattern was familiar in some odd way. When I was looking in my sock-drawer I found the first pair of socks I knitted to myself. A pair of Caoua coffee's "Sacre du Printemps". Well, well, what did I see... It was the same pattern but CC had twisted the knit-stiches but on Twirl you knitted them the "normal" way. But they are good looking, absolutely gorgeous.
The sockmania is over fot this time. Maybe I could finish my Bond-sweater now. There is only a few cm missing at the cuff of the sleaves. So very soon it will make a transformation from an UFO to a FO.
Malli/Pattern: numma numma: Twirl (Ravelry)
Lanka/yarn: Araucania Rancho Multy (83 g)
Feelis: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
